Cost of Living Support - Money off your energy bills

The government has announced extra help with the cost of living for 2022

Money off your energy bills

Everyone who pays a domestic electricity bill will get £400 off their bill this winter.

You do not need to apply for this - it will be applied to your energy account automatically.

The government is still working out the details of exactly how it will be paid.

You will not need to pay the money back.

If you have a prepayment meter (a key meter) you will still get paid this support. The government is still working out exactly how the support will be given to you.

If you live in a park home, the government is still working out whether and how you can access this help.

If you pay your energy bill in with your rent to your landlord, the government is still working our whether and how you can access this help.
