Spring 2021 Volunteering Opportunity - Helpline Mystery Shopper 

Not everyone can go online or use devices like computers, laptops or smartphones. We want anyone facing financial challenges to be able to access the help available to them.

We support people over the phone by completing our online financial tools on their behalf, we then post, email or text them their results. We show people what they can apply for and equip them to take the next steps to access help.

We are working with the Turn2us Helpline to ensure quality standards on calls are maintained and all callers receive a positive experience.

Could you give some of your time to make mystery shopping calls to our Helpline and provide us with valuable feedback? All training provided - drop us a line at to express your interest. We expect volunteers to make 5 - 10 calls and attend an hour’s training on Zoom prior to beginning. 

No experience necessary, but we are particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of financial hardship.

We would also like to hear from people interested in volunteering their time in other ways - please send expressions of interest along with your experience to!

We would particularly like to hear from those involved with community work in their local area.
